The nature house is a centrally located, attractive and cozy house suitable for up to 3 persons. The living room with open kitchen has a high ceiling and lots of light, making it a very nice place to stay. The living room has a sitting area and a dining area. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator (without freezer), a dishwasher, a gas hob, a combination microwave, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. The house has 2 small bedrooms in the first room is a 2 person box spring and in the second room is a 1 person box spring on the latter room is also a sink available. There is also a third room with a large closet. There is also a bathroom with toilet and shower. The garden is over 900 m2, has its own driveway, a small private forest and can be closed with a fence. There is garden furniture and a parasol. The garden was renovated in early 2023. An additional barn is currently under construction.

Appelscha is a tourist village in the municipality of Ooststellingswerf, province of Friesland. The cozy village includes a supermarket, a bakery, a bicycle rental, several restaurants, the forest mountain tower, a tea shop and much more. You can also visit the Tourist Information Point, where you can ask all your questions about possible activities to do in the area. The region of Appelscha is beautiful. There are beautiful forests with lovely trails. Appelscha lies on the edge of the national park 'Het Drents Friese Wold'. This nature park consists of 6000 hectares of sandy plains, heathland, forest, dunes and stream valley grasslands, a fantastic environment! The park has over 130 kilometers of hiking trails and there is a 'barefoot path'. Also you can enjoy cycling and there are challenging mountain bike routes. Also for horse lovers there is a riding school nearby and there are beautiful bridle paths.
