Nature house in Gaastmeer

Dear reader, this campsite has 2 hiker's huts and a log cabin. Us Hiem is a hiker's hut. The mini camping is located directly on the Fluessen and the Heegermeer and there are all kinds of water sports possibilities. From the cabin there is a beautiful view into the Frisian distance. A few important things to know.- Almost everything for cooking is available.- The showers and toilets can be found in the toilet building of the campsite. (Showering costs 50 cents)- There are wonderful mattresses and pillows but you must bring your own bedding, towels and tea towels. (A sheet set can be rented if necessary. You can indicate this when you make your reservation). There is a jerry can with tap available for drinking water.

The 3 log cabins are located on the edge of the campground with all of them having a beautiful view. In the early morning sometimes a hare will scurry by and there are many different birds to admire. Dogs are allowed but not off leash. Therefore we have a large piece of meadow where they can run around endlessly. Our campsite is situated at the edge of Gaastmeer, a small, typical Frisian village and still a bit of a public secret.
