In the beautiful Vecht valley overlooking a vast garden and several meadows lies this thatched cottage. The tranquility there is unparalleled. The cottage is therefore regularly found by writers and true peace seekers. From the cottage you can enjoy looking outside. "Every window in this cottage is like a Dutch painting". In the spacious private garden you can always find sun and shade spots on sunny days. The still new cottage (built in 2021) is comfortable. The decor is quiet and warm. The fully equipped kitchen has induction hob, spacious oven, dishwasher and all accessories. The bathroom is spacious and there is a washing machine. Electricity is charged from 4kwh per day. In addition to a spacious private garden with several seating areas, you can enjoy a pond and flower garden (over 3000m2). There is also an idyllic woodland garden where you can pick fresh herbs etc. in the summer.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located at the back of our natural yard. The owners, a married couple with two young children moved here in 2020 for the peace and quiet and to fulfill their dream. To show people how beautiful nature is, that nature "heals" and brings you closer to your "own nature. It borders a forest. There are also several walking and cycling networks on the route. There is a collaboration with Estate Den Woesten Heide, which is almost adjacent to the property. This beautiful estate has a great diversity of landscapes, including many acres of forest, heathland and the Varsenerveld nature reserve. The owners will be happy to show you around. If you want to do some shopping or more entertainment, at about 5 kilometers you will find one of the oldest Hanseatic towns of Overijssel: the town of Ommen. Here you can indulge yourself on the beautiful banks of the Vecht.
