The cottage is part of our long-gabled farmhouse and is located on a 4000m2 plot of land with widest views. It has its own entrance/exit and private garden with seating area. BBQ available. Inside there is a double bedroom downstairs with en suite bathroom with WC. The other bedrooms are on the 1st floor, a 2nd bathroom with WC available. The cottage is equipped with a kitchen (gas stove, kettle, Senseo machine and Nespresso, small fridge), a living room with dining table, sofa, wood stove and electric heating. You will enjoy the peace, space and quiet of the countryside. No wifi available in the cottage. From the garden you overlook the countryside, you can sometimes see the deer walking and birds of prey circling above your head. INCLUSIVE: bed linen, towels, tourist tax. and possibly dogEXCLUSIVE: Meals.
Nature and surroundings
Come and enjoy the tranquility of the authentic countryside of The Creuse; one of the cleanest and greenest areas of France where there is hardly any tourism. Experience the deafening silence, peace, space and the Limousin cows that are all around you. You can make endless walks and bike tours here, also from the nature house. If you like peace and nature then you are in the right place because as soon as you enter the gate it descends on you. From the garden you have a breathtaking view over the country where the deer walk by. At 10km is a lake where you can enjoy swimming, canoeing, water skiing, picnicking or a snack in the adjacent restaurant. Fresselines itself is famous because in 1889 Claude Monet painted some of his first works here. The Monet museum is located in the village. Furthermore, in the area you can go horseback riding, visit picturesque villages, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding. But above all, you will totally relax here!
