What began in the 1970s as a modern concept of 17 white cottages is now a renovated project! The completely renovated cottage offers peace and quiet on the edge of the old orchard. The view of the valley of the Viroin always provides a changing spectacle. The cottage has its own private garden, with terrace! There is also plenty to do in the area for adventurers. Kayaking, mountain biking, hiking to rock climbing and much more. In short, the ideal vacation destination!
Nature and surroundings
The authentic Ardennes village of Treignes is a three-minute walk away. There is a beautiful church with next to it a cozy village pub, In the small supermarket you can go every day of the week for all your groceries. For supermarkets you can go to Nismes (Okay) or Couvin. Also just across the border in Vireux and Givet you can go to the Intermarché, and all this at max 15 km. At 3.5 km you drive across the French border, where you can find the best baguettes in the world. Choice of 3 bakeries.... There is possibility of kayak (rental in Montjoie), also vtt and other bikes for rent in the region. Along the Meuse (Voie Verte) possibility of flat bike rides.... In the village are 4 museums, so even in rainy weather there is always something to do. Especially the railroad museum with the steam train is a crowd puller! Hiking trails abound, always starting at the church.
