Unspoiled wilderness, only the sound of an owl at night and splashing into the cool river from your bed in a few steps. This cozy yurt sits on our finca, which consists of a field and 40 acres of wild mountainous forest. In between meanders the crystal clear Manol River with its beautiful swimming spots (note, in dry summers the Manol can be dry).The authentic Mongolian yurt 'Panorama' has many windows and is comfortable in both summer and winter. The yurt is in a private spot on the camping grounds, with large front yard in the forest. Includes own kitchen, refrigerator and sanitary facilities with cold shower (hot shower is 1 minute walk in shared sanitary facilities). There is electricity and a fan and/or wood stove. Includes bed linen and towels. Phone/internet coverage is 2 minutes uphill from the yurt. The last 2km to the yurt is a gravel road. We are located in the foothills of the Pyrenees. From here you walk directly into the wilderness of the Pyrenees. There are numerous hiking possibilities, in the wilderness, past abandoned ruins, high peaks, mountain rivers or along the old villages. Moreover, there are several mountain bike routes in all directions from our location. The nearest village is Lladó, which can be reached via a 50min walk, 20min bike ride (steep mountain road) or 10min drive. The village has a restaurant, cafeteria & bar, several playgrounds, outdoor pool and a small supermarket. The High Pyrenees and the Mediterranean Sea are both an hour's drive away. Of course, we can tip you to the most beautiful beaches and mountain walks. Also for a visit to a picturesque village or rock climbing you are in the right place in this area.
