An island on the Vinkeveen lakes. A self-sufficient Tiny-House of 16 m2 with 2 sleeping places. WC, outdoor shower, electricity, stove, TV, fridge, gas stove and 100 m2 of outdoor space all for you. Make a campfire, no problem. Dog along, no problem. Despite all the luxury, you have to be a little adventurous. The shower is on the side of the cottage and has hot and cold water. To make your stay on the island possible, you get when booking a good boat ( askeladden ) equipped with a combustion engine 4hp. You do not need a license for this. The boat is insured, your own risk is € 250. If you are not familiar with boating, we need 30 minutes of your time to teach you the basic skills. You will learn the finer points during your vacation. In Holland we often talk about the weather. On an island you will experience the weather more intensely, so be prepared.
Nature and surroundings
The Vinkeveense Plassen are a concept in themselves. In the green heart, Nature Network Netherlands area (NNN), against Botshol (natura 2000). In the top of diving locations in the Netherlands due to the clear water. All this is true and you can fully enjoy it. Living on an island adds another dimension to this. On the island you are in very direct contact with weather. A fresh dive in one of the cleanest natural waters in the Netherlands makes you forget all your worries.
