In the beautiful forests of Gaasterland is on a park near Oudemirdum our cottage. This cottage is suitable for 4 persons, has a garden instead of a lawn and is therefore less suitable for young children. However, there are several playgrounds in the park. On the ground floor is a luxurious open kitchen with living room, a bathroom with shower and a toilet. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds, and a second toilet. There is a crib available. Next to the house is space for two cars. At the side entrance there is possibly room for two bicycles.
Nature and surroundings
The park is a spacious, quiet park and is located in the Elfbergen forest where you can take lovely walks in all directions. The IJsselmeer coast is also within walking distance. There is within cycling distance a recreational beach on the lake and also Woudsend and Sloten are accessible by bicycle. The village Oudemirdum is within walking distance of the park. It is a cozy village in Gaasterland located in the southwest corner of Friesland. There is a wide choice of restaurants, there is a bakery and a supermarket. Gaasterland is a unique rolling landscape with forests, wide vistas, beaches and cliffs.
