Nature house in Baiardo
Liguria, Italy

Sustainable tours, trekking, courses or just overnight stays at Posto Tra Monti e Mare! There, 20 serpentine kilometers north of San Remo, between the Mediterranean Sea and the Maritime Alps, phrases such as alternative life, self-determination, soft tourism, deceleration, slow food or ecological economy have become vivid practice. Simple, close to nature, rustic as it should be for the country, people, Liguria and an earth consumption reduced to 0.9 planets. Because this is also at the center of the needs of the guests in the holiday home: to experience, hike and enjoy local culture, rural lifestyle, real traditions of the local people and the dynamics of history in the present and for the future in a very practical and climate-neutral way - with solar collectors, outdoor showers and compost toilets, soon with real donkeys, at least already with chickens... Change perspectives in the Posto TMM, broaden horizons with joy and take lasting inspiration home with you.
Nature and surroundings
Vignai belongs to the municipality of Baiardoand is located about 9 km east of the main town on the district boundary to the municipality of Badalucco (about 14 kilometers by road). Of course, there are also varied footpaths to both places, which lead through this graceful and rather lonely landscape in about 2-3 hours. The Oxentina valley is considered to be the most beautiful and original side valley in the Argentina area and has hardly any traffic and no bus connection from Baiardo in the west to the turn-off on the provincial road to Badalucco in the east. Countless half, full and multi-day tours are possible in all directions: to the beach, to the high mountains, on the trail of partisans and witches, Brigasque nomads, squatters and contemporary artists, but also local lifestyle, cooking and handicrafts. Vignai itself is located directly on the Parco Naturale delle Alpi Liguri and our Posto TMM takes a 10 minute foot walk from the hardly used road up the slope amidst the forest.
