This very comfortable, spacious and beautiful residence was newly built in 2021. It has its own entrance and a rural decor this gives a very welcoming feeling. You can enjoy here, the space, nature in a rural Agricultural environment. Your own residence as a base from which to explore the north of North Holland. There is TV with free WIFI. Our house is not suitable for small children. There is an open kitchen with a Coffee filter machine, refrigerator, dishwasher,and combi microwave and ceramic hob. Do you prefer breakfast in the open air! From the French doors you immediately enter the private terrace overlooking the just newly planted food forest. The spacious bathroom has a walk-in shower with sink toilet and washing machine. On the second floor (open loft) is a nice box spring for 2 pers. including 2 pers comforter and pillows. If desired (Optional) we can make this for you. You have the entire space of this house at your disposal.
Nature and surroundings
A lovely place rural location with div. fietsroute's including Medemblik, (7 km away) Horn and Enkhuizen. All 3 cities are situated on the lake and have lovely beaches. A beautiful nature reserve is only 3 km away from our residence. Lovely walking or cycling to explore the area, and enjoy nature. The picturesque villages Twisk, Abbekerk, Aartswoud, Hoogwoud, Kolhorn or the peninsula Wieringen, (The Haukes, Stroe) are perfect for various cycling tours. Also the West Frisian dike is a beautiful route to ride. The North Holland sea beaches with their beautiful dunes reach from Den Helder-Texel (30 Km) (Callantsoog 23 km) Schoorl (25 km) Bergen aan zee to Egmond and are within 30min. to reach. There are many activities nearby including the golden triangle Enkhuizen / Horn / Medemblik which you travel by steam streetcar / Boat / Train, highly recommended. Also Alkmaar [cheese city] and cozy Bergen are also beautiful places to visit.
