Le gite, entièrement restauré et en excellent état, est situé dans l'aile ouest du Château Salamon, lequel surplombe le Tarn (ou lac de Lacroux). Il bénéficie d'une vue et d'un environnement exceptionnelle. Il y a une plage privée qui se situe en contrebas du château, avec un ponton pour accéder à la rivière, des chaises longues, des canoës, de l'ombre et du soleil. Il y a sur le domaine un espace de jeux pour les enfants ainsi qu'un terrain de pétanque. Le gite dispose de la fibre internet et du chauffage central. Il y a une cuisine tout équipée, un grand salon avec table manger et smart télé, un espace canapés avec poële à bois. Le gite mesure environ 120m2. Il a deux salle de bain et 4 chambres spacieuses (deux chambres avec lits doubles de 160x200 ainsi que deux chambres avec chacune deux lits de 100x200: que l'on peut assembler selon ses envies).

Nature and surroundings

Le château est situé dans la Vallée du Tarn, aux portes du Parc Naturel Régional du Haut-Languedoc. La vallée est préservée et de nombreuses randonnées, balades en forêt (pour cueillir des champignons), balades à vélo ou en canoë vous attendent. La faune est assez époustouflante le long de la rivière Tarn (nombreux rapaces, martins-pêcheurs, renards, blaireaux, voire loutres si on a de la chance etc.).
