The nature house is part of a quiet and small bungalow park located on the Schildmeer. It is made almost entirely of wood and has a cozy and rural feel. You can fully enjoy the fine surroundings or in the evening with a glass of wine on the veranda. The double bed consists of 2 single beds and can also be used as 2 single beds. High chair available on request. The cottage has been recently renovated.
Nature and surroundings
Together with 't Roegwold, the Schildmeer forms a varied nature area. Old nature is supplemented with new nature and agricultural areas between the already existing nature areas are redeveloped. The area is characterized by an alternation of open water, grasslands, marshes, rugged nature, tranquility and panoramic views. A large part of the area is grazed by Hereford cows, Groninger blister heads and sheep. Thanks to the extensive network of cycling and hiking trails, you can see and experience nature and be completely immersed in it. For example, by walking along the Knuppelpad; a wooden plank path of 750 meters, right through the swamp of 't Roegwold. The view is different every season, allowing you to take the most beautiful photos here.
