You stay overnight in a practice in a private room next to the farmhouse. There is the toilet building with shower, toilet, washing machine, iron, a disabled toilet and kitchenette. The location is great, on the outskirts of Enschede and in the middle of the green. Besides the beautiful monumental farmhouse, there are two barns, an ornamental and vegetable garden and in front of the farm a large orchard. There is a large pond, a bowling alley and numerous animals roam around.
Nature and surroundings
Twekkelo is a small-scale hamlet located between the Twente cities of Hengelo and Enschede. Twekkelo has five beautiful hiking trails. These go over sandy paths, along the edge of meadows, through hoop or turnstiles between the cows, through the wooded banks, over the ash fields and along the streams.
