The two tents (large safari tent and XS tent) are located on a mini-camping site with 9 seasonal pitches and 4 other safari tents. The place offers a lot of privacy as it is on a spacious private pitch of 340m2 and surrounded on 4 sides by hedges. The large tent is 50m2 and consists of a living area of 36m2 with a covered terrace of 14m2. The large tent has 2 bedrooms (a master bedroom with double bed and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds). The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The living room also has a sitting area, dining table and fully equipped open kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, espresso machine and induction hob. The tent large has a wooden front door for extra privacy. The terrace is fenced and has a bench and two garden chairs. In the garden there is a picnic table, hammock and barbecue. The small tent has 2 separate beds with a nightstand and light and power outlets.
Nature and surroundings
Our campground has a unique location. The campsite is located in the middle of the Onrustpolder surrounded by arable land. At 2 km distance lies the beach "De Banjaard": one of the Netherlands most beautiful and widest beaches. Within walking distance (0.5 km) of the campsite is the nature reserve "De Schotsman". A wooded area equipped with hiking trails, mountain bike trails and horse trails. This nature reserve is also known for the Scottish Highland cattle that roam freely.At 3 km driving distance is the Veerse Meer: a water sports paradise for surfers, water skiers, wakeboarders, sailors, etc. Also at 3 km from the campsite is the Oosterscheldekering, the showpiece of the delta works, topped by the information and amusement park "Neeltje Jans". Rustic villages such as Veere and Domburg are within cycling distance.
