Detached Tiny house on large yard in beautiful garden in very quiet area near the Zaanse Schans. You quickly imagine yourself in this beautiful landscape with ditches in the last century. Farm animals present (two lovely cats, 3 chickens and a tame duck, which is also the reason why you cannot bring your own pet). The tiny nature house is fully equipped: new toilet, new shower, double bed, kitchenette, fridge, kettle, coffee maker, egg cooker, crockery, maps of the area. Bed, shower and kitchen linen available and included in the price. Games to borrow. Wifi coverage. Heating with wood or via inverter air conditioning. Cooling via sliding doors with mosquito net or via air conditioning. You look out over the meadows, to the horses and sheep. Really something for people looking for some peace and quiet, not for party people.
Nature and surroundings
Located in a beautiful 16th century neighborhood that you cannot get to by car. Park 400m away and then walk with travel bag or you come on the bikes you bring with your car. Rolling suitcases are not allowed here because of the peace and quiet, make too much noise on the paths. Also the neighbors like peace and quiet. Large luggage can be picked up later. Ideal for nature lovers and peace and quiet, not for party people. Just steps away the Zaanse Schans, the Zaans Museum, the windmills, the Mill Museum, the polder with beautiful bike paths to the Twiske and Wormerland, Zaandam and Amsterdam nearby, and a little further Volendam, Edam and the beach. Several nice restaurants in the immediate vicinity within walking and cycling distance. Really something for people who are looking for some peace and quiet, but also occasionally want to do a day trip to Amsterdam or Zaandam or go to one of the many museums in the area. A small rowing boat or canoes can be rented for a half day and you can sail from your house into the polder where many birds are.
