Through the back gate you walk right into the Veluwe. In the morning you look from the dining table into the forest. It is a large, simple wooden chalet (69m2) in a beautiful place with a large garden and a large pond. And yet the nice center of Putten is close by. There is a spacious bedroom with patio doors overlooking the pond and forest. The bathroom is also spacious, with bathtub and double sink. Parking on private property. Pets are strictly not allowed. The nature house is on the edge of the forest, on a chalet park. This is a quiet park without pets, where guests are expected to keep the peace. We ourselves are regularly in the house and would like to let you enjoy it with us through this way. There are no facilities on the park, except for separated garbage at the entrance. Not suitable for small children. Pets are not allowed. There is no wifi. TV set with hdmi for laptop, bring your own data or DVD player. There are stairs to the front door.
Nature and surroundings
As mentioned, you walk out of the cottage through the back gate into the forest. Here is Landgoed Schovenhorst with the forest tower and the Pinetum (recommended: terrace for lunch or dinner in the forest). After 10 min walk you are in the Speulder- and Sprielderbos. You also bike to the lakes, where you can bike, sail and supp. A must is the beach with restaurants in the middle of Harderwijk, and the shade of the trees at the beaches south of it. After a long walk or bike ride on the Veluwe you can sit on the deck near the pond, where the dragonflies and birds fly in and out. All kinds of animals live around the garden: the fox has its lodge nearby, and you can regularly see squirrel, wild boar and rabbit around the house. And of course many birds. In addition, a few times a year also pine marten and roe deer. Recommendations where you so to cycling are the Ermelose hei, Leuvenum forest, Very suitable for hikers and cyclists for the forest of the Veluwe, and for water sports.
