The cozy haystack is beautifully situated between meadows and forest and has its own entrance. The mountain is constructed of sturdy oak wood. Upon entering you will find on the ground floor a cozy open space with the sitting area: 2 person sofa with footstool and dining area with a spacious closet. The kitchen consists of a 4-burner induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer, kettle, coffee maker with coffee and filters, kitchen utensils. In the separate bathroom are shower, toilet and sink. Upstairs you will find the bedroom with two single beds (can be put together and apart), chest of drawers, washing machine, clothes rack and air conditioning/heating. Outside there is plenty of space to enjoy the sun or shade overlooking the meadow and forest. It is good to relax on the terrace with flowers, butterflies and birds all around you. There is a covered bicycle shed with charging facilities for your e-bike. When it's hot outside it's hot inside too and we have a fan and upstairs air conditioning.
Nature and surroundings
You look out over meadow and forest. In the morning you see the sun rise over the trees, in the evening you enjoy the sunset behind the meadow. Behind the haystack you walk right up the dirt road to the village. Birdwatchers bring their binoculars. The surrounding Salland scenic landscape offers many hiking and biking opportunities. There are 15 km of walking and cycling paths around the village of Heeten, where routes of various lengths can be taken. The Boetelerveld at 9 km is the last piece of wet heath that remains of the former vast Sallandse Heide, you can walk there beautifully. There are 2 restaurants, the supermarket is open every day. The Hanseatic cities of Deventer (12 km), Zutphen and Zwolle (both at 30 km) have several museums and other recreational and entertainment opportunities. In addition, Museum More in Gorssel (museum of modern realism) and National Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug are recommended. The neighborhood bus to Deventer and Raalte does not run in the we and not in the evenings.
