Nature house in San Juan de la Rambla

This nature house is a wonderful place to stay in the banana belt in the north of Tenerife, close to the ocean, between Puerto de la Cruz and Icod los Vinos. Here time has stood still and it feels like being in a romantic movie. Away from the tourist crowds, you will find yourself back in one of the most beautiful small communities on this island. Don't be surprised if the traveling trader offers you fresh bread or fish every morning or if your neighbor hangs freshly picked bananas at the kitchen window. Feel welcome and enjoy your stay. We have renovated our casa with much love and our own hands. It is technically up to date and handmade and decorated, influenced by the Canarian and other cultures of this region. A house where a traveler loves to arrive and unwind. When you literally wake up with the view of the sea at your feet, never losing your compass at breakfast. Or looking at the firmament and the impressive surroundings.

As you enjoy the sunset in the evening, you will most likely meet the local pardelas. Pardelas, the shearwaters, come home at night from the vast ocean to the nests on the large rocks above our village. On the flight home, you will greet your neighbors and the surrounding area with your unmistakable twittering.
