Come and experience the ReLove Project. A unique, hand-built eco getaway, nestled into the mountain side with abundant nature views, peace and privacy. We can create your personal retreat space. During your stay you can choose to add any number of movement practices, therapies and treatments, additional meals or fresh produce from the farm or just enjoy the space and tranquility. A spacious 6 metre off grid cob Roundhouse double bedroom/lounge with large double bed, sofas, log burner. An oh so cute converted horse lorry fully stocked kitchen and eco bathroom. The large shaded deck is perfect to disconnect from city life, enjoy your meals, relax in a hammock and enjoy the stunning view of the Serra do Acor mountains and your own garden. There is a natural dipping pool and waterfall in the sheep meadow which you can enjoy and use for cooling off in the summer. The space is ideally suited to 2 people for a private and personal retreat but we can adapt to more people on request.
Nature and surroundings
The Relove Project is situated within a family run organic farm where we grow vegetables, keep animals, live and work. We are ReLoving the valley and have planted 5000 trees in the last 6 years. The farm is nestled in the Serra do Acor mountain range and is a 15 minute downhill walk to the local swimming beaches in Pomares and Agroal and a 15 minute cycle ride to Avo river beach. We are surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty here with many rivers, trails and mountains to discover. Nearby tourist spots are Fraga de Pena waterfalls and schist trail, Mata de Margaraca forest and Piodao famous schist village. You can enjoy an amazing Gin and Tonic in Paolo's taverna and order a menu de dia from Cafe Gloria if you want to meet and socialise with the locals in Pomares. The Relove Project is situated above our family home but with complete autonomy.
