Our mobile home is located in the outskirts of Boxtel and has a private garden of about 100m2 under the apple trees. It is a cozy Bed and Breakfast with all facilities on 12m2: toilet, shower, kitchen, smart TV, wifi, oven, 2-burner stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, bedding, towels, tea towels, dishes. In short, fully equipped to enjoy a few days away. Ellis and Dorien are your hostesses and in consultation they fill the refrigerator. Of course you are free to bring your own breakfast. You have access to a barbecue and in bad weather you can have drinks, barbecue, smoke indoors at our nature house. Opposite our nature house is an active dairy farm. Generally it is a very quiet place but the farmer sometimes starts early and sometimes goes on until late (e.g. when silage is needed). That's farming life and maybe nice to experience it once ;-)
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located between the farmlands in a traditionally farming environment. Nature reserve the Kampina and the Oisterwijk woods and fens are within walking and biking distance and in this area there are beautiful cycling and hiking routes. The Kampina is a rugged nature reserve with vast heathlands, forests and shifting sands. The Essche stream flows nearby and there is the possibility to sail across it in a canoe. Bicycles can be rented for €10.00 per person per day. A stone's throw away you will find castle Nemelaer and a little further you come to Oisterwijk where you can have a delicious meal or drink on the terrace. Also Boxtel has several restaurants and cafes where you can have a nice stay. 12 Kilometers away you have the Loonse and Drunense Dunes. It is over 3500 hectares and has been a national park since 2002. The park is largely an alternation of dry sand drifts and coniferous forest. Wonderful to go hiking once.
