Our Nature House is rural in a wooded area with many opportunities for hiking and biking. Especially suitable for people who appreciate peace and privacy. In the front part of our farmhouse in 2021 a spacious and comfortable nature house has been realized as a vacation home for up to 4 people in 1 reservation. Per reservation you are always the only guest / company. The comfortable accommodation of 90 m2 is generous, has its own entrance and offers a lot of privacy. Downstairs are the living room (including sitting area, dining area, wood stove, smart TV), kitchen (fridge freezer, dishwasher, built-in oven/microwave, induction hob, espresso coffee machine with fresh beans) and a bathroom with toilet, walk-in shower. On the 1st floor, accessible by stairs, are 2 bedrooms, each with a 2-person box-spring and a toilet. For a long weekend, midweek and per week extra discount, we would like to welcome you as our guests.

The southeast corner of Friesland, bordering Overijssel and Drenthe is a wooded area. Among others, the national park Drents Friese Wold, in the immediate vicinity, is one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. In 2000, over 6000 hectares of forest, heathland, shifting sands and stream valley grasslands were designated as a National Park. The Drents-Friese Wold is among the most beautiful and important nature reserves in Europe. The National Park Weerribben-Wieden at about half an hour's drive, over 10,000 hectares of low moor swamps. A labyrinth of ponds, lakes, ditches, mysterious-looking marsh forests, vast reed beds and flowery hay meadows. A beautiful environment for boating, cycling and walking recreationists. On the border of Friesland and Drenthe is a vast nature reserve, the Fochteloërveen .Prison Museum Veenhuizen, the Proefkolonie Frederiksoord (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and the Hunebedden are nearby.
