On the edge of the beautiful Estate is this nature house. The old cowshed in the yard of our residential farm has been converted into a vacation cottage. The nature house has a kitchenette with dishwasher. There is also a washing machine and air conditioning in the cottage. In the adjacent barn there is a large refrigerator with freezer. There is a separate toilet and a bathroom with large walk-in rain shower. A staircase in the hall leads to a mezzanine with a bunk bed and the possibility of adding an extra mattress or crib. Downstairs is the double bed. The nature house has a private terrace with a beautiful garden with playground equipment. From the nature house and the terrace you have a fantastic view over the countryside. Waking up in our nature house is a special experience! Enjoy peace, space and comfort.
Nature and surroundings
On our own property are a toad pool, orchard, bird watching cottage, herb garden and forest. From the nature house it is only a 50m walk to a junction of 3 wooden shoes paths. Also in the immediate vicinity are several ANWB bicycle routes. Through the hiking and biking trails you can explore the Appel Estate. Nature is diverse: forest, heathland, fens and farmlands. It is a beautiful cultural and historical landscape. The cozy village of Voorthuizen is fifteen minutes away by bike, as is the recreational area of Zeumeren where swimming and water sports are available. In Barneveld, the nearest train station is just 4km away. In short: a gem in the middle of the country!
