In one of the most beautiful places in the Netherlands, just west of Zutphen near the Veluwe, on the edge of the Achterhoek, you will find a special vacation home located on a small estate with a vineyard. The nature house is a former stilt mountain (haystack) that has been sustainably transformed into a sturdy robust lodge with all the luxury needed for a comfortable stay. There are two spacious bedrooms, each with its own luxurious bathroom. The living room has a cozy sitting area, a round dining table and a kitchen where you can prepare a meal (induction hob with four burners and a combination oven). The house is located in the yard, has several terraces and the rest of the property is also freely accessible to our guests. From the living room you can see the sheep through the large sliding doors. We rent by long weekend (Fri-Mon), midweek (Mon-Fri) or week. Nature and surroundings
The property is 1.3 hectares and is located in the middle of the coulisse landscape of the IJsselvallei, near the Veluwe and Achterhoek. With a natural pond, several sheep pastures with fruit trees, a vegetable garden and a vineyard, the estate is actually special enough! But for cyclists and hikers, the area offers plenty of opportunities: the Empese and Tondense heaths, various extensive estates, the Veluwezoom and the Hanseatic cities of Zutphen, Deventer and Doesburg can be reached within half an hour. We gladly invite guests to use the entire grounds. Plop down on the lounge set by the pond, or grab a loaner chair (a lovely recliner) and find a spot under the trees or wherever you like and enjoy the birds, the frogs, and the silence!
