Welcome to this nature house. A very special place to unwind, be outside a lot, ride a bike, read a good book in front of the fireplace or relax in the hot tub watching the stars. Please note that this house has a 2 bed on the mezzanine, so with a staircase, and a 2 bed on a sofa bed with a wonderfully soft topper. In our luxury shed is floor heating, shower, toilet, kitchen with oven, microwave and dishwasher. There is also WiFi, Apple TV and a possibility to recharge your electric car (consumption will be deducted from the deposit) *By September 2024 there can not be booked due to new construction. As nice as the shed is, it is time to make it more sustainable. In the second quarter of 2025 the nature house can be booked again. We would like to welcome you to our other Nature House (see photos for impression) Until spring 2025!!!
Nature and surroundings
Enjoy the beautiful coulisse landscape in the Achterhoek, the bicycle routes and our beautiful forest plot of over 3000m2. This nature house is located in the middle of nature and on the border with the German forest. The ideal place for long walks with or without the dog. Go swimming in the recreational lake 't Hilgelo or choose one of the subtropical swimming pools nearby. Visit the market in Winterswijk or see if the Eagle Owl breeds in the Steengroeve. Also a walk in the Korenburgerveen should not be missed. The cottage is centrally located between Winterswijk and Vreden (D). Winterswijk has a beautiful center. Here you will find all amenities such as supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and even a cinema. So you do not have to get bored. Places like Doetinchem, Zutphen, Enschede and Hengelo are about 40 minutes by car and are definitely worth a visit. And don't forget the fortified town of Groenlo. The Achterhoek is surprisingly beautiful and that starts at our nature house.
