This nature house is a beautiful cottage/holiday home consisting of two apartments on two floors. The cottage has retained its historic features but is equipped with modern comforts. The apartments are spacious and have kept their own recognizable atmosphere. This recognizable atmosphere is created by the old beams that have been kept in sight as much as possible and maintaining the windows with the small panes within them. We have adapted the farmhouse to contemporary needs. The apartments border or overlook the garden of almost 4000m2. Most of the garden is accessible to our guests. We have sheep, cats, chickens and a dog that usually roam freely. Besides peace, space and beautiful surroundings, we also serve a breakfast that is organic as much as possible.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in an old residential farmhouse in Hulshorst. The house was built in 1864. It is centrally located between the Veluwe Lake on one side and the Veluwe forests, moors and sand drifts on the other. Old fishing villages and towns like Elburg and Harderwijk are definitely worth a visit. While large(er) cities like Zwolle, Amersfoort, Apeldoorn, Utrecht and also Amsterdam are not far. The surroundings of Hulshorst are very varied and you will find plenty of nature, culture, water and all kinds of opportunities for relaxation.
