Attractive gite with living area of 130m2. Walled garden of 800m2. The stairs to the front door give access to the kitchen and the living room. Behind the kitchen is the bathroom with sink, shower, toilet and washing machine and the door with the stairs to the upper floor.Upstairs you will find a spacious attic (3rd open bedroom) with French balcony and a double bed and 1 bed. The attic gives access to two closed bedrooms. The front bedroom has a large double bed and a baby bed. Under the house is a basement and next to the house is a large barn. Here is also washing rack and bbq. In the garden is a sandbox, swing and on request a climbing frame can be placed. The garden faces south and the spacious terrace is lovely in the lee. Behind the garden is a raised terrace (the terrace furniture is moved until the end of September because of the wall).
Nature and surroundings
The region of fields and large forests around the river Aisne. Because of its location and history, this area has been called the cradle, the "core" of old France. The northeastern part of "Ile-de-France. In the beautiful, romantic landscape are the castles and the old provincial towns and cities. Poets were inspired by nature there...Driving from the famous "Chemin des Dames" you follow the country road steeply down between rolling hills. The road seems to disappear into the woods, but then you arrive at a small "hameau". This hameau is in the middle of Paris, Reims and Laon and the culture-historical triangle of Soissons, Laon and Reims. A region famous for its fantastic World Heritage-listed Gothic Cathedrals.
