Enjoy peace, space and coziness in this authentic, romantic farmhouse. Our farm was built in 1904 according to the West Frisian model, and has served as a trimmings store next to the farm. When we bought the farm it was 116 years old, and had the necessary overdue maintenance. Bit by bit we are renovating the house, for example, we recently renovated the toilet! The proceeds from renting out the house we put back into the house, so we are now saving for renovating the roof. The house is located on the West Frisian dike and has an unobstructed view over the meadows / tulip fields. In winter it is nice to put the wood stove on well (wood is included!), in summer you sit in the garden.
Nature and surroundings
Our farm is located on one of the longest streets in the Netherlands: the Dijkweg in Andijk. Andijk is what you can call a real ribbon village. With its location directly on the dike (of the IJsselmeer), you enjoy water, fresh air and Dutch farmlands. With the icing on the cake: a view of grazing sheep on the dike, directly from the living room.
