Come relax at Bed & Wellness Klein Knorrestein in eco-district Almere Oosterwold with our sheltered pigs, bucks, chickens, dogs and cat? In our garden are 2 Tiny houses for guests: this Wrap House made of cardboard and a handmade Iglucraft. We fill the hot tub with fresh water and fill the boiler with bio-fuel. So you don't have to fire with wood!!! With 1 push of a button the water is heated sustainably. The thermostat keeps the water at temperature. The delicious smelling red cedar sauna is electric and is connected to our 24 solar panels! This handmade nature house is the place for people who are not looking for a five-star hotel, but want to get started with a (camp) fire, relaxing, cuddling animals, slow-cooking, nature and wellness. Enjoy our cozy wood stove. Bringing your own wood is not allowed, with us you can buy a large basket of wood with firelighters, matches and kindling for €15. Explore the surroundings on our two-seater tandem.
Nature and surroundings
The nature house is located in Oosterwold, a special residential area where we residents do everything ourselves, from building the roads and walking paths, to using half of your living space for urban agriculture. Tiny house is tough, robust and sweet and built entirely ecologically. Tiny house is in the garden of our home, a Sustainer Home, in which I live with my son. The tiny house runs on our 24 solar panels, with its own rainwater-to-potable water system and water reuse. Our place is on the edge of the residential neighborhood on one side, and on the Forestry Commission's Cathedral Forest and our animal pasture on the other. The Wrap House is directly adjacent to the animal pasture overlooking the edge of the forest. So you do stay in "built-up" area, but walk right into the forest. Almere and Zeewolde have numerous forests and bicycle paths. Almere is even one of the greenest cities in the Netherlands! Therefore, we are also very proud to welcome this year's Floriade.
