The safari lodges have an unobstructed view over the hills to the Pyrenees. There is plenty of privacy around the tent to enjoy the peace and quiet. Enjoy the view, hiking, reading, eating out or just doing nothing at all. On the covered terrace of the lodge is a lounge set and inside is a large dining table. With the two nice armchairs you can sit wherever you want and in the sunbathing area by the pool there are comfortable sun beds waiting for you. The nature house has a double bed and there are two bunk beds. The kitchen is fully equipped and a barbecue is at your disposal. The tall trees provide shade and there are many seating areas to fully enjoy the sun. And if it gets too hot...take a refreshing dip in the pool. Both Safari Lodges have a private bathroom with sink, toilet and shower. The owners live in the main building and are there for you during your stay at this nature house.
Nature and surroundings
The fantastic view is the first thing you will notice. Unobstructed views all the way to the Pyrenees! Deer walk in the field, birds of prey circle around and at night the sky is dotted with twinkling stars. The region is sparsely populated and the people have time and are friendly. The local markets sell delicious local produce. The grapes are turned into Armagnac and Floc, the area's specialties. At the chateaus, the owners are happy to tell you about this process and, of course, you are allowed to taste. As a base, the nature house is a starting point for many beautiful day trips. The owners are happy to give you tips and think along with your wishes. From the Safari Lodge you walk into nature. Bring walking shoes and/or the (electric) bike and keep your camera handy. It is beautiful here!
