This nature house is in a unique, historic location on the edge of a nature reserve right on the Uitgeestermeer lake, not far from Schiphol Airport. The park offers luxury safari lodges with air-conditioning/heating, spacious vacation homes and cozy 4-person apartments with excellent swimming and water sports facilities within easy reach. At the park you will also find an excellent restaurant, ice cream parlor and nature playground for the children.
Nature and surroundings
During your stay at this nature house, a day on the water should not be missed. Do you have your own boat? Then you can moor your boat at the jetty near this nature house. It is also possible to rent a boat. From the Uitgeestermeer you can visit many authentic North Holland towns and villages in the area by boat. Besides boating, supping or canoeing is also a fun, active way to explore the Uitgeestermeer. We offer canoes through the nearby canoe rental. Contact us for more information. You don't have to drive far for a day at the beach either. Popular beaches such as Castricum aan Zee, Wijk aan Zee and Egmond aan Zee can be reached within 15 - 25 minutes' drive. Because of its central location near the A9 motorway and a half-hour drive from Schiphol Airport, the park is easily accessible by private transportation. The train station of Uitgeest is 4 km away.
