On the ground floor is the living space with lots of natural light. The open kitchen is equipped with every comfort and has a large cooking island where 5 people can be seated. The large dining table offers enough space for 12 people. The sitting area is separated from the dining room by a flint wall in which a see-through fireplace has been built. During the long winter evenings you can enjoy the warm atmosphere that a real wood fire radiates. From the dining area you have access to a spacious terrace overlooking the large garden. In the garden house you will find the infrared sauna (Health Mate), fitness equipment, shower and outdoor toys. On the second floor there are 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. There is also a separate toilet and a bathroom with bath, shower and double sink.On the 2nd floor you will find 2 bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. From one bedroom you can reach the sleeping loft with 4 mattresses suitable for children.
Nature and surroundings
In the village center of Sint-Martens-Voeren, between the Sint-Martinus Church and the Veltmans House, lies the vacation home. Along the small river Veurs, this is a perfect place to relax. The Voer region also offers numerous opportunities to be active and sporty. The vacation house is located near the starting point of mapped out hiking trails and you can immediately connect to the cycle route network of Belgian and Dutch Limburg. The landscape of Voeren is special and surprisingly varied: a mosaic of hills, valleys, wooded areas, meadows and meandering rivers. The Voeren region has an enormous wealth of diverse species of plants and animals. On your walks in this beautiful Voeren, you might just come across a shy deer, a badger, a fox or many other animals. You will also find plants that are few and far between in the rest of Flanders. The unspoiled landscape also houses some gems of nature reserves.
