The cottage is located in the countryside south of Weert in a rural setting on the edge of nature reserves Kempen~Broek and Tungelerwallen. It is quiet and peaceful here. From the 2 parking places there is a path to the terrace along our house . Behind the terrace is a bicycle shed where there is room for 4 (electric) bikes. This storage can be locked. On the terrace is the door to the inside. Behind the door are the cozy living room and the rural kitchenette. In the living room is the door to the first bedroom. The bedroom has two single beds and a private bathroom with a toilet, sink and (rain) shower. There is also a door from the living room to a corridor. In the corridor is the door to the second bedroom. The second bedroom has a double bed and a private bathroom. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and (rain) shower.The cottage is located in the yard of the owners. There are also Dutch land goats in the yard.
Nature and surroundings
From the terrace and the living room there is a view of the nature reserve Kempen~Broek. From the cottage there are several walks and cycling tours through this area as well as from the various starting points in the nature reserve. Also in the Tungelerwallen are beautiful walks or there are pieces of the Count of Horne path to walk, a circular walk of ± 90 km. The network of bicycle junctions is 500 m away. For birdwatchers there are several locations where spotted eg, the Kettingdijk, Mariahof or the Krang. The blue lake is nearby for a fresh dip in summer or to start the day. At 15 km is Thorn, the white town and Weert is nearby with its cozy center and many restaurants. Maaseik and Roermond are also nearby.
