Comfortable spacious and cozy house of 90 m2 for 2 people, 30m away from the main house; includes living room/kitchen with underfloor heating, fireplace / wood stove, hall with toilet, spacious bedroom with bathroom and toilet. There is a fridge freezer, cutlery, crockery, coffee maker and kettle. Please note that the house is not suitable for the disabled. Every day we carefully serve a delicious breakfast with homemade baked goods. The municipality has not granted us a permit to install a stove: we will give you tips on the nicest restaurants and takeaway addresses or offer to cook for you. Bicycles can be stored in the woodshed and the car can be parked in our driveway.
Nature and surroundings
Ideal for peace seekers - not suitable for children - located on a road that turns into a dirt road where only local traffic is allowed. The B&B is located on the 8 castles route and 250m from the Pieterpad. From our garden you walk directly into the forest and there are beautiful hiking trails. There are also mountain bike trails in the forest. The outdoor swimming pool "In de Dennen" is 8 cycling minutes and the built-up area of Vorden with many catering establishments is at 2500m. Hanseatic towns Zutphen and Deventer are at 10 and 24 bicycle kilometers respectively. Museum Ruurlo is within cycling distance as well as Bronkhorst, the smallest town in the Netherlands. No use of a private washing machine but with pleasure we do the laundry if guests stay with us longer than a week. We ourselves have 2 enthusiastic but sweet dogs that can run loose in the yard. IT IS THEREFORE IMPORTANT THAT GUESTS ARE NOT AFRAID OF DOGS. They are well trained and used to guests in the yard.
