Welcome to The Lake House, one of the beautiful stays of Ubuntu Lake Houses. This cozy vacation home with a lovely garden, complete privacy, stunning views and a swimming dock on the Vinkeveen Lakes is ideal for families, groups of friends and couples will feel right at home and enjoy even in the winter months by the indoor fireplace. The house is child-friendly and the garden faces southeast for maximum sunshine! You have access to the accommodation including the cozy landscaped garden, where privacy is guaranteed thanks to the surrounding fence. For a fee, you can rent a boat or SUPs from us to enjoy the Vinkeveense Plassen to the maximum. It offers a sense of vacation, privacy, tranquility, luxury and freedom. Perfect for water and nature lovers. The garden has a large table overlooking the water, 2 deck chairs, a comfortable garden set and a free to use barbecue (don't forget your own coals).
Nature and surroundings
Vinkeveen is a beautiful picturesque village, best known for the Vinkeveen lakes. Besides water sports, Vinkeveen also offers beautiful hiking-biking routes. The area is known for its quiet and natural surroundings. Motor vehicles cannot come directly to the accommodation, allowing you to enjoy total tranquility at the edge of the Vinkeveense Plassen. An 800m walk from the parking lot brings you to this wonderful location. Upon arrival, our cargo bike is ready for you to transport your belongings to your vacation destination. We provide 3 free bikes. Upon arrival at the parking lot, you can safely leave them behind. Box carts are also available for free use. You can park for free on the road in front of the port from 1-10 to 31-03. Outside this period a max parking time of 2 hours applies within the parking disc zone between 8:00 and 19:00. It is possible to park your car opposite the park for a fee (€10 p.d.).
