A walk around the lake, a long hike or bike ride through the neighboring woods, or sitting around the campfire and unwinding. The living room with kitchenette, dining table and wood-burning stove is located on the first floor of the cozy, modern wooden house. A couch forms a cozy retreat with a view of the wood-burning stove. From the living area, you can access the covered terrace with the fireplace in front of it, which is also ideal for barbecues. The bathroom with toilet and shower is also located on the first floor. The bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One bedroom has a double bed, the other bedroom has two single beds. The garage and an adjoining room with a table football table are located in another building. An outdoor shower, the sauna (on request for an extra charge) and a hot tub/whirlpool complete the recreational facilities. Unfortunately, the performance of the internet is variable
Nature and surroundings
The vacation home is located in the local recreation area near Burgwedel in the Hanover region. There is only a footpath between the property and the lake, a shallow body of water created by peat cutting. The water level fluctuates greatly depending on the season. At times it can even dry out. Many animals, especially birds, can be observed at the lake. The surrounding forest and fields are ideal for long walks or bike rides. Alternatively, the vacation home can also be the starting point for a visit to the state capital. The center of Hanover is 27 km away and can be reached in 17 minutes by S-Bahn from Großburgwedel station, 3.5 km away. Further possibilities for day trips are the Hanover Zoo (26 km), the Walsrode Bird Park (59 km), the Serengeti Park Hodenhagen (41 km), the Hankensbüttel Otter Center (67 km) or the Heidepark Soltau (77 km).
