The apartment is a cozy 26m2 apartment, it has a living room with open kitchen and a dining area, there is a sliding door which leads to a private terrace, the terrace is equipped with furniture and faces south. The kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner induction hob, microwave, filter coffee maker, Nespresso, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer. In the living room there is a double sofa and a flat screen TV that can be rotated so you can easily watch TV from any corner of the room. The bedroom has a double box spring bed with soft topper on the bedroom is a sink. There is a separate shower and toilet. Of course there is free wifi as well as digital information. On the grounds of Dichtbijzee there are also many terraces which you can use, for example in the picking garden.
Nature and surroundings
The apartment is located in Oosterend against the foot of the dunes. Oosterend is the last village on the island but that is only the middle the rest of the island is nature reserve. Most of this area is nature reserve Boschplaat with a unique nature both in flora and fauna. Boschplaat is also home to a large colony of seagulls, and there are also excursions by wagon during the breeding season. The dune area actually begins as you walk off the property and this area runs through to the North Sea beach. You can also take the road to the beach which is 2 kilometers away. Another unique nature reserve is UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea this is only 300 meters away. If you go out on a dark clear night you can even see the Milky Way because you are in one of the darkest places in the Netherlands. Stores can be found at a distance of 8 or 13 kilometers the nearest supermarket is 3 kilometers but most supermarkets also deliver.
