This nature house has been lovingly renovated by the owners. They also welcome guests personally. With a bathroom and WC per bedroom, two couples can also enjoy privacy. Bookable for children over 12 years old. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, everything is in place and you cook on gas, just like the professionals. The different levels of the house, the windows that open to the front and back, allow an "outdoor life". Underfloor heating under real oak floors pampers guests with even warmth, while an additional fireplace adds to the sense of well-being. Wood from local spruce and beech can also be reserved. For bicycle enthusiasts, there is a lockable room behind the house with tools for any bicycle repairs. The wood-fired outdoor sauna provides further relaxation and must be reserved a day in advance and paid for on site.
Nature and surroundings
Küchelscheid is at the end of the municipality of Bütgenbach, right at the entrance to the High Fens. You don't need fast Internet. Here in the countryside the clocks - and the Internet - tick slower. From your cottage you can hike, bike, cross-country ski or snowshoe in winter. Your cottage is at the end of the village, with no through traffic, right on the edge of the forest. Our house is surrounded by nature, surrounded by meadows that are mowed only once a year, tall trees and beech hedges. At night and when the sky is clear you can discover the starry sky, because there is no light pollution here, as is the case in many places. On the outside, the house is clad in natural larch wood, which turns a dignified gray. The house is deliberately not painted.
