This nature house is located in one of the old tenant farms belonging to the Château du Tirondet estate. The spacious house is luxuriously decorated with natural materials and has wooden floors. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with dining area and an adjoining open kitchen with all amenities. An old passage gives access to the old milk cellar where the bathroom and toilet are now located. On the second floor there are three spacious bedrooms all equipped with good and new beds with an extra thick mattress, a closet with a safe. The rooms have a small desk or a cozy sitting area, one room also has an extra armchair that can be folded out into an extra bed. One bedroom has separate single beds, on request these can be made up as double beds. This cottage has a private courtyard with terrace, comfortable furniture and a good barbecue.
Nature and surroundings
This house is located in the Creuse, the 'France profonde'. A quiet region where it is wonderful to relax in the middle of nature. The domaine of Château du Tirondet is an estate of over 27ha with a spacious garden, surrounded by meadows where Charolais cows graze. From the garden you walk straight into the 13ha private forest with several hiking trails. For a slightly longer walk you walk into the French countryside of the Creuse, characterized by the many hedges and small lakes that you encounter between the castles, manors and small villages. Walk in peace and enjoy the silence. After the walk or bike ride, relax on the domaine by the heated pool or on the terrace where you can join us for a meal several days of the week. The nearest village of Sannat has a convenience store for some small groceries, less than 15 kilometers away are some larger villages with supermarkets, stores, restaurants and markets.
