This 5 person dike house has been transformed into a true wellness paradise, located in the floodplains of the Land of Maas and Waal, yet with the necessary social amenities in the village. Equipped with a 5 person indoor jacuzzi and 2 person infrared sauna. From the house and the jacuzzi you look straight into nature. Completely private! You imagine yourself "as God in France". Between the trees you see the water of the "Vonkerplas". The house is tastefully decorated, with an open kitchen well equipped with all appliances, a lovely living room, a wood stove, 2 x double bedroom with good beds, (possibly 3rd bed there), rain shower, washing machine, internet etc. There are 2 terraces, both with furniture. The largest terrace is directly adjacent to the house and the other terrace is accessed via a number of steps down. Renting bicycles is possible through an external two-wheeler store. Use of wood costs € 30 per stay.
Nature and surroundings
At 50 meters from the house you walk through "the Bushek" into the floodplains. A lovely green place for walking, birding and beaver spotting, swimming, fishing or just strolling. In no time you stand eye to eye with the "Vonkerplas" and river "Waal". The land of Maas and Waal lends itself ideally to cycling and hiking and is especially known for its many fruit orchards. The village has a supermarket, Kruidvat, bakery/bonnerie, clothing store, florist shop, pharmacy, several cafeterias, Brasserie "at the table with Jan", pizzeria "Mamma Mia", several farm shops. The gardens of Appeltern belong to Europe's largest garden park. Dreumel is easily accessible via the highways A2, A15 and A50. Cities such as Nijmegen and Den Bosch can be reached in 30 minutes by car. Smaller cities like Tiel and Oss are closer by. The area has quite a few terraces and restaurants to enjoy.
