At the edge of the Sauerland in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia lies our mountain cottage Mees. On a sunny mountain slope, it is wonderfully quiet in nature. From the terrace and from the cottage you have a beautiful view of the valley and the village of Husen. You can enjoy from early in the morning until late in the evening under the awning or just relax out of the wind after a day out. Inside, the sitting area is comfortable with a corner sofa with chaise longue. The bedroom has a spacious and comfortable bed with a raised entry and plenty of closet space. Moreover, it is cool in the summer because it is located on the shady side. The park is car-free. The house is easy to reach, with no height difference. 'Die Fabrik' is the coziness at the entrance. Host Tom serves delicious meals in a casual and relaxed atmosphere. Do you have vacation plans with family, friends? Nature and surroundings
The environment with forests and mountains is inviting for peace, space and nature seekers. But it also suits an active, sporty vacation. There are plenty of cycling and hiking opportunities, (electric) bike rental is possible in Paderborn 20 minutes away. Golfers will find plenty of facilities in the vicinity. Winterberg and Willingen are 30/45 minutes away by car. There are plenty of attractions in the area. The beautiful nature park with wisents in Warburg, the cozy town of Paderborn, Monastery Dalheim with a beautiful garden and a cozy café, a beautiful and sustainable natural pool and the nature and recreation area Diemelsee are some of the attractions in the area.
