With our white and red tent lodge (ID 64892), it's glamping, as glamping is meant to be. In and around this cozy tent lodge, the free outdoors is united with the comforts of a good bed, a romantic bathtub on legs and a private kitchenette. Inside, make it cozy with a wood stove, and for colder nights we have an extra comforter and an electric blanket. The lodge is in a small and leafy park with 5 accommodations, an animal shelter, a lawn and lots of trees. In short, all the ingredients for a few days outdoors! Your bed will of course be made by us. Also your towels are ready. We do the final cleaning. * Wood can be ordered on site at Eur 8.50 per bag, you can also bring your own dry wood. * Something to celebrate? Nature and surroundings
The residence is located in the middle of farmland. You walk right past the fields to the flowering hawthorn hedges in the Maasheggen: the oldest cultural landscape in the Netherlands. The area is so unique that it is the only one in the Netherlands to have been awarded UNESCO Man & Biosphere status. Walking and cycling opportunities abound. Less than 12 km away are the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, a vast lake area of over 475 hectares of water and 200 hectares of nature. A wonderful place for water sports, beach recreation, hiking and cycling. At about the same distance, just across the border, lies the Ketelwald. With an area of almost 9000 hectares, it forms a link with other nature reserves, such as Millingerwaard and Rijnuiterwaarden, Haterse Vennen, Maasduinen, Veluwe and Eifel.
