With our red and white lodge (ID 64890) is glamping, as glamping is meant to be. In and around this cozy lodge is the free outdoor life united with the comfort of a romantic double bed (200x140), a bathtub on legs and a private kitchenette. The lodge is in a small property with 5 accommodations, an animal shelter, and lots of greenery. And that in the middle of the farm landscape. In short, all the ingredients for a few days outdoors! Your bed will of course be made by us. Also your towels are ready. We do the final cleaning. * Wood for a campfire on the large terrace can be ordered on the spot at Eur 9,50 per bag, you can also bring your own dry wood. * Something to celebrate? Nature and surroundings
The residence is located in the middle of farmland. You walk right past the fields to the flowering hawthorn hedges in the Maasheggen: the oldest cultural landscape in the Netherlands. The area is so unique that it is the only one in the Netherlands to have been awarded UNESCO Man & Biosphere status. Walking and cycling opportunities abound. Less than 12 km away are the Kraaijenbergse Plassen, a vast lake area of over 475 hectares of water and 200 hectares of nature. A wonderful place for water sports, beach recreation, hiking and cycling. At about the same distance, just across the border, lies the Ketelwald. With an area of almost 9000 hectares, it forms a link with other nature reserves, such as Millingerwaard and Rijnuiterwaarden, Haterse Vennen, Maasduinen, Veluwe and Eifel.
