The house is located at an altitude of 550 m, in a peaceful natural setting at the crossroads of the Lot, Cantal and Aveyron regions. The region is renowned for its chestnut, hazelnut, oak, beech and birch landscapes. The house is part of a typical Ségala hamlet, with its wooden galleries, chestnut drying sheds, barns and well. We bake our own sourdough bread using our neighbor's ancient wheat flours. It's baked in our wood-fired oven. A large lake, 20 minutes from the gîte, has a supervised beach and waterslide, pedal-boat hire and fishing. Barbecues available on site. Family atmosphere.
