Located in a rural setting where time stands still, this nature house is an oasis of silence and inspiration. The recently remodeled barn makes you feel right at home. The open spatial design, the view from the large windows and the silence will make you relax immediately. In both sitting areas you can lounge, read a book, watch a movie, or gaze out in front of you. There is high-speed internet, so bring your work with you if necessary. The sleeping area has a double bed with mosquito net, to feel completely enveloped at night. The bathroom alone is an experience, equipped with very spacious shower, dry toilet and old style sink. The house is at the end of a small road with beautiful views. The nature house is located in the "Vallée des Peintres," an area where painters like Monet came to paint the special light of the landscape. You are surrounded by forests, fields, and rivers, small villages and narrow winding roads. You can hear the Creuse River flowing, that's how quiet it can be - and that's how close the Creuse is. Here you are in no time for a cooling dip, for sunbathing or hiking. At the waterfront restaurant, "Au z'Amis du Lac," you can enjoy lunch or dinner in the evening. Due to the pure air and remote location, starry nights are breathtaking, and sunrise and sunset admirable. The area has beautiful walks and bike trails, on old paths between fields or through the forest. This part of France is not so touristy yet, so the interesting places and sights can be visited quietly.
