This nature house is an attractive, restored worker's house next to the striking mill De Zwaluw. On the first floor there is a sitting area with large designer sofa, dining table, kitchen (microwave, refrigerator, airfryer, induction, Nespresso machine and kettle) and bathroom with shower and hip bath in the old box bed. A 2-person box spring on the upper floor.The cottage is located in the idyllic village of Burdaard, on the famous Elfstedenroute and in the World Heritage Wadden area.Peace, space and nature in the large, green garden with a covered private terrace. From the terrace a view of the adjacent mill and the old fruit trees in the garden. The cottage is in our backyard and is perfect for 2 people who want to relax, read a book or play games and is also ideal as a base to go on adventures in Friesland. National Parks nearby as well as the historic cities of Leeuwarden and Dokkum.

This hidden gem in our green garden is located in the middle of the World Heritage Site, near the Wadden Sea. Go on an adventure through rugged nature, embrace the endless vistas and experience tranquility. Perfect place for long walks or bike rides through pristine nature reserves, such as the Alde Feanen and the Lauwersmeer area. The water village of Burdaard has a cozy atmosphere along the Dockumer Ee. Rent a sloop or supboard and discover the Frisian landscape from the water. Visit the islands of Ameland or Schiermonnikoog, the historic town of Dokkum or bustling Leeuwarden. Discover the beautiful surroundings by bicycle (for rent if necessary). A cozy village store with fresh bread and local products within walking distance.
