Always wanted to spend a special night? Then Ollie is for you. Comfortable, cozy, warm ... a Tiny house on wheels, sometimes called a mobile home. The sleeping house is built in with scaffolding wood for a warm and robust look and you sleep in a beautiful box bed with normal bed sizes. Bed linen and towels are not included but can be rented. There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator and kettle. You also use the campsite kitchen and the campsite sanitary facilities. Ollie is in a beautiful spot on our nature campsite, with 4 more sleeping cabins and 4 pitches. No cars or campers come on the property. Wide views, sunsets, deer: you'll see it all! Tent next door for the kids? You can do that too!
Nature and surroundings
The surroundings are particularly surprising. Stream valleys, slightly undulating, winding rivers, forest, many nature reserves and lots of walking, cycling and canoeing opportunities. They also call this area the Drenthe of Groningen or the pearl of Westerwolde. There is also a large mountain bike network and many places of interest. In the vicinity is a tropical swimming pool, a possibility for water skiing and wakeboarding, various museums, monasteries and a castle in Wedde, the fortified town of Bourtange, seal spotting in Fiemel, watching a cruise ship being built in Papenburg, Germany, shopping in Leer or the city of Groningen, day trip to the German Wadden Island of Borkum, a fairytale forest in Ter Apel or a dinosaur park in Wedde, the zoo in Emmen ... all within about half an hour. Will you come too? We have 3 apartments in the farmhouse and at the back of the grounds are 5 sleeping cabins for two people and 4 camping spots, only for tents.
