In beautiful wooded area located cottage (75m2) with 2 bedrooms. In the area cycling, hiking and horseback riding is very attractive and relaxing. There are several hiking, cycling and riding trails in the immediate vicinity. The cozy cottage can accommodate up to 4 people. The cottage is equipped with central heating and a wood stove. The warm decor, with lots of wood and glass in the living room and bedrooms (10 and 8 m2, and possibly another 10m2 outside) offers a pleasant atmosphere. There are two comfortable sofas, a nice smart TV and of course wifi. A modern new bathroom with sink, shower, bathtub, and a separate toilet are new (2023). In the spacious, exposed and beautifully landscaped garden with pond, firepit, deck chairs there is also a nice lounge set. To the side is a separate dining table with 5 chairs. Bed, bath, and kitchen linen are provided and included. Optional bicycles or e-bikes can be rented.
Nature and surroundings
Total area of the plot is approximately 450 m2, and is located in wooded area. You walk straight into the vast Veluwe forests at the front or rear, where you 'risk' to see or hear all kinds of wildlife (deer, boars, various birds, etc.). There is also plenty of choice for cyclists! Junction 58 of Fietsnetwerk Nederland is nearby. The Beekhuizerzand is "around the corner" just like the Veluwe Lake and Ermelo's heath. Imagine yourself in almost tropical atmospheres on the Strandeiland in Harderwijk, where you can enjoy a beautiful sunset on a clear day. Heading east is Castle Staverden, near the smallest town in the Netherlands (Staverden). Here you will find, among other things, the ancient and locally famous white peacocks, a giant Sequoia tree and a cozy brasserie. Cities such as Amsterdam, Utrecht, Amersfoort and Zwolle are all within a maximum of an hour's drive from Ermelo. So this nature house is a great base for all kinds of different activities!
