Saint-Vincent-en-Bresse is a small and quiet village. There is a delivery point for fresh bread and a bar-restaurant. A 5-minute walk away is a recreational area with a large (fishing) pond where you can spot frogs, otters and birds. The area is ideal for cycling, hiking, golfing and fishing. Do you prefer being on the water? Then rent a canoe or boat to navigate the Seille. The Bresse region is characterized by authentic farms, beautiful villages and rolling countryside. The closest town is Louhans (14km) with its arcades and Monday morning market. The cities of Chalon-sur-Saône and Tournus are about 20km away and Beaune and Mâcon can be reached within 45 minutes. If you drive half an hour east, you will reach the Jura with beautiful places like Baume les Messieurs and Château-Chalon, both proclaimed one of the most beautiful villages of France. Westwards you come into the wine region with among others the characteristic wine villages of Givry, Buxy and Cluny.
