Nature house in Glimmen

At our riding school a nice, light and spacious apartment of about 70m2 has been created. Through the private entrance you enter the spacious hall. Through the stairs you come out in the kitchen with an electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge with freezer and a washing machine. There is also extra storage space for suitcases, for example. To the left is the spacious bathroom with rain shower, washbasin and toilet. The spacious bedroom has a 2-person box spring (160x200cm) and ample closet space. In the cozy living room you will find a dining table for 4, a sofa bed, a nice easy chair and of course the television. You can use the large private front garden with lounge area and dining table during your stay. With an accommodation at an equestrian center, of course you can also bring your own horse! We have a stable and/or paddock available for your faithful four-legged friend (at extra cost). The playground is freely accessible as is the 11-acre grounds.

On the border of Groningen and Drenthe, the village of Glimmen is beautifully situated between the Quintusbos and the Appèlbergen and near the Pieterpad and the Drenthepad. This makes Glimmen the ideal base for hikers and of course horse riders. Are you more of the cycling then there is the Saxon route and the round of the Netherlands. The city of Groningen with its famous "Olle Grieze" (Martini Tower) and the Groninger Museum is only 10 km away. The city center is known for its many nice restaurants and the very varied range of stores. Enjoying shopping and then grabbing a terrace afterwards is actually a must! A visit to the beautiful village of Zuidlaren is also worthwhile. Water sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves with the Paterswoldsemeer, the Zuidlaardermeer, the Hoornsemeer and what about the Drentsche Aa. The latter is less than 500 meters from the accommodation. In short, a lovely spot in the countryside with all amenities at hand!
