Just above Le Mans, in the Perche/Normandy region, a beautiful water mill is hidden away. The rooms are located in the front house. An ideal place to break your journey south in one of the authentic rooms or to enjoy your vacation here. There are 2 bedrooms, each with double bed and extra sofa bed, 1 with bathroom en-suite (+bath). In the hall is an extra bathroom with shower and toilet and there is an extra toilet. There is a large kitchen, living room and dining room. Throughout the garden there are sitting areas. Or seek the tranquility of the orchard. In the garden is a canopy with outdoor kitchen to stay when it rains. Of course I provide a delicious stay with breakfast and dinner or bbq and you will lack nothing. Also super that your dog is welcome (please ask). The mill is located near the N12 and A28. Ideal for a stopover or as a base to relax and enjoy the unspoiled nature and tranquility.
Nature and surroundings
This attractive water mill is located in a quiet, green setting on the outskirts of the village of Blèves, (90 inhabitants). The garden is an oasis of peace and space, rich in beauty and possibilities. You will find an orchard, a covered terrace with bar and outdoor kitchen, a picturesque lake with a babbling brook and a lush garden full of flowers, with numerous cozy seating areas. It is a place where you can relax, recharge and be inspired by the serene surroundings.The rural, rolling countryside invites you to explore. Picturesque villages such as the artists' village of La Perrière are well worth a visit. A little further away is the Alpes Mancelles region: imagine yourself in Switzerland: with impressive rock formations, crystal clear rivers and charming villages. Visit brocante markets or the historic city of Le Mans, The vast lakes and forests are ideal for hiking, cycling or canoeing. There are 2 beautiful natural parks in the vicinity.
